Dack Shack

We came into town for the first time and were looking for a place who could deliver. We chose Dack Shack and are so glad we did! We ordered the prime rib sandwiches, Dack Shack burger, onion rings, chocolate shake, peanut butter pie, and the dessert cookie. Everything was SO good! They have amazing fresh cut fries, although they were a bit cold because of having it delivered, they were still delicious. Make sure to order the truffle mayo. It's worth the extra dollar. SO good! I was a little annoyed they didn't bring it up to the hotel room and only brought it to the front desk, but that could be from COVID.

Loved the walk-up pick up window and the food was absolutely delicious. Had the meatloaf special and the two fish tacos.

Can only get takeout from here due to COVID, the food was really great, even when we warmed it up a bit later! A good place to pick up from!!

Delicious food prepared with care. We ordered online fish & chips, lobster roll, and poutine for pick-up. They texted us immediately when our order was ready to be picked up. Food was hot and well packaged when we got home. Lobster roll was good but not amazing. For $25 per roll with some fries on the side, I’ll skip it the next time. Fish & chips was delicious: huge piece of haddock battered and fried to perfection. Really good French fries! Make sure you get extra dipping sauce (truffle mayo)!!

We visited Lake Placid this summer and had very good gyro here. Very disappointed with my pick up order today, as gyro was cold and did not tasted well at all as chicken was not better than precooked supermarket quality. Fries rather overcooked / Paid $47 for 2 gyros and fries.
