Got stuck in Lake Placid waiting for a broken bus to get fixed. The people at the Pickled Pig were so friendly, cheery, and welcoming. My bus driver wanted me to be fast in case it got fixed, and the Pickled Pig accommodated and got my food ready in 2 minutes. It was delicious. I usually don't like pickles, but the pickles in the brisket were delicious!!! Super fresh, sweet, and flavorful. It also felt like a nice, clean establishment--very refreshing after all those grungy gas station stops. Highly recommend it for the food, service, and the ambience. Thank you!

If i could give less than 1 star I would. A group of 15 of us took a 3 hour ride on our motorcycles to have lunch here. We wanted to sit outside and there were literally only 2 other customers outside. There were only a handful of customers inside. When we went outside we pulled a few tables together so we could sit together. The waitress came outside and told us that we couldn't move any tables. Mind you, there were only 2 customers. We asked her to ask the manager to allow us to sit together. She came back outside and said we were still not allowed to move the tables. The manager came outside and told us we couldn't move the tables in case they got busy, again, only two other customers there. I asked him if he could recommend a good place to eat and he said there but we weren't moving any tables. We all left. Instead of moving tables, they lost probably 500 to 600 in business. We all left and will never go back. Rude and un-accommodating.

Came in with my father and brother from out of town. Great fried pickles! Great bacon and brisket and loved the bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Would 100% recommend and would gladly come back again.

If I could rate this place less than one star I would. The food was nothing special and would not return back to this place. Need less items on the menu and they should concentrate on making a few good items. The only thing that was good was the jalapeno poppers.

Fair at best. The Black and Blue was tasty, the brisket sloppy joe was dry. Both were kind of cold. The beer was good. $60 for 2 sandwiches and 1 beer. Too much.
