Always a great place.to go

While visiting Lake Placid area we picked this place for dinner. I had a salad while my boyfriend had the chicken wings. Now we are from Buffalo, the home of the best chicken wings, so I was a bit worried as to what we would get. My salad was very good. Plenty of toppings and chicken. I tried the chicken wings and surprise they were very good. We were told people come to this place for the wings. We asked for crispy and they were cooked perfect and also were saucy. We got medium which could have used a bit more heat since for me they seemed mild altho the color of the sauce looked as if they would be hotter. I loved the wings and would recommend!!

We were referred to this local hangout by The hotel staff where we were staying. This local hangout is off the main drag in Lake Placid. They have a very nice outdoor patio...quaint and great sun. They have umbrellas at most tables to block the sunlight. Very family friendly and nice staff. As you walk in, It does appear to a little drab....but many times these are the best places for service and food~ And Wiseguys holds this to be true. Wait time on food was good. Staff very nice and courteous. I ordered the regular cheeseburger and asked for it to be cooked medium- order came as I asked. Perfectly cooked medium. Ok had some waffles fries that were tasty and crispy along with a nice cold margarita. My partner in crime ordered the Fricks Fried chicken. I highly recommend this meal as is was so crispy, juicy and tasty! Didn’t have room for dessert, but I’m sure whatever they serve is great. All the orders we saw come out looked very, very, good and great sized portions. A lot of variety on the menu and the prices are perfect! Not overpriced.
