The Hickey Tavern

They bill themselves as the oldest dive bar in Allegheny and part of it shows with floors from the 1930s and great classic music in the jukebox. The vibe is excellent and the bartenders even more so

If you wont to go see the best in local live music with good friendly people your in the right place. 5 stars all the way. The best of the local talent is there the 1st Tue of every month a must to see and hear.

Went in to play pool while I was the DD. Got turned away for no reason after the old bartender wouldn’t except my ID, wouldn’t take any of my other two IDs either.

We had a Ball and the band was great!

The Hickey and Lou are Allegany legends. Good ole small town bar at it's best. Excellent bands and music all the time, with open mic and acoustic jams. I know there is a Facebook page with updates on who's playing when. Nothing fancy, just strong drinks and good times.
