The R Place Tavern is a must-stop if you are in the Mattawa area or passing by. They have a big outdoor patio for outdoor dining and a great old fashioned dive bar inside (never skip a good dive bar). The food is top notch! You must try the French dip sandwich, and the burgers are big. They have great beers on tap, and an amazing wine selection, esiconsidering that this is right in the middle of wine country. We come for food as well as stocking up on local wines by the bottle. Don't miss this place.

Junior has done a remarkable job of getting this place up and running. Quality food (given the smallest of kitchens), great service and a very fun atmosphere including great outside seating and occasional live music. If you live in Desert Aire and haven't stopped by here, you're doing it wrong.

Fast friendly service. Manny's on tap. Chicken Wrap was excellent. An oasis in the desert.

This place is really great!! I would have given them 5 stars but they chose to play mega death out in the patio tonight!! Horrible!!nnJake, the chef, is awesome!!
