Amazing. Top chef and delicious meals. My meal was hearty and sophisticated. Duck confit, house made gnocchi, fresh butter bread, organic meats & fish. Accommodating to gluten free. Craft cocktails and great service. Can’t wait to come back.

Very disappointing. Food was less than marginal. Service was abysmal. Worst attitude on a waitress I've seen in ages. They are lucky to be open and have customers during a pandemic. $100 meal for two people with only one alcoholic beverage. Definitely not worth it. 1st time I didn't leave a tip in ages. And I usually over tip.

The Beal House has been one of our favorite places to eat for several years. Absolutely delicious, seasonal, local food. Lovely cocktails and desserts. Burger & beer night is a bargain and totally worth it. You never know what might be on the menu because it's based on what is available from local farms and purveyors.nnThe take-out operation is easy and definitely yummy. We are thankful we can still enjoy some of our favorites, like fried chicken, lamb meatballs, and gnocchi and take advantage of new dishes like this weekend's decadent lobster roll.nnHeartily recommend.

The Beal House catered dinner for 12 for my son's wedding. Adam was incredibly helping in choosing a menu that would stand up to being reheated or could be served at room temperature, since the wedding was over 30 minutes away. Everything was delicious-the appetizers, main course and sides. The portions were very generous. We had ordered take out at a variety of fine dining restaurants where we live during COVID, and were often disappointed, so it was an extra pleasant surprise that the meal was so wonderful! Moreover, Adam could not have been more flexible or accommodating with our schedule, which kept on changing. We then ordered a take out dinner the last night of our vacation, and that too, was delicious.

Service was ok. Lighting and rustic atmosphere was good. I liked the pork dish but they should have just called it pork chops or pork loin. The donuts were so bad I could not finish. They are crispy all on the outside like the top of coffee cake and then a little soft piece on the inside. Again, not really what I was expecting based on the menu. The cocktails were good.
