Very slow service my best friend got attacked by a dog and we are still waiting for them to come

The staff is friendly. My kids and I went to adopt. The worker explained everything she knew about the dogs she was showing us. We had some concerns with the dog we were going to adopt, but she helped ease our worries. The other staff worked diligently when something popped up that they needed clarification to make sure the dog we were adopting was going to the right home. To me, it shows they truly care about the pets they are sending out. I'd rather wait for the clarification and confidence, then to bring a dog home that wouldn't have done well. It's only been a couple days, but they have gone better than I anticipated. For clarification, the dog was labeled as having anxiety and she was not interacting when we were given time to get to know her. I was worried if I brought her home, that she would hide and be miserable. She likes to lay in the bathtub a lot of the time, but when she comes out, she follows my kids around like they are the best things in the world.

Quick service to put my animal down because it was time for her.

They make it really hard to adopt a dog. Week after week we see animals we want to adopt. You have to email them and they are supposed to email you back to set up an appointment. After multiple emails to them they still have never replied. We want to rescue a dog from them but since they don't want us to I guess we'll have to look else where. It's sad to see dogs you know will be a good fit and you will love with all your heart sit in there week after week when we want one now. I don't see any point in donating to this place when they apparently don't even try to get rid of animals. There's plenty of other great shelters out there that are doing everything they can to get rid of their animals as quickly as they can. They deserve the donations more.
