Village Shoe Inn

Drove 20 minutes here. Granted not that far but Google says they're open. Got to store and doors are locked, lights off, and says Rochester store is closing to expand other locations. No explanation otherwise of why they're not open today. You can see inside that everything is still there.

This shoe store rocks! They have such a beautiful assortment of shoes. I guarantee you will find what you want and more. The staff ( Laura & Charlie) were so great. They were helpful, not pushy, knowledgeable, friendly but professional too. My mother, sister, cousin and I had a blast. After lunch we went back for more. The prices are reasonable and they had a huge sale of the cutest styles. Thank you for such a great time. Hope to see you soon.

I was very disappointed in this store.nI had been here 3 times before for different occasions and the selection was always great.nThis time was different. Not only was the selection very poor but the woman who I believe was the manger was rude. We came into the store 30 minutes before closing time and she was not happy to see us walk in. She didn’t great us after looking right at us.nWe went upstairs as we were looking for something specific, unfortunately we didn’t find what we were looking for. As we were walking down the stairs to leave she yelled over us to another employee to shut the lights off. I advised her that we were leaving (5 minutes to closing time) and she said “oh yes no problem thanks for stopping in”. She was very passive aggressive and I would never return again. You would think stores would be happy about getting business rather than us going and ordering the same shoe online for a lot less money.

What a great place. I wear size 11 and LOVE shoes, so my frustration level gets pretty high when I need something, especially special occasion. Went to VSI, found 7 pairs of beautiful shoes that fit. Incredible to find such selection and in my size! Happy, happy, happy!
