Went pet shopping with my dog and we both loved this store!! The minute we walked in all the employees greeted both of us and they were all very helpful. Truly a great experience.

Best small family owned pet store around. Very clean with helpful staff. Good selection of products. Extras like small pet adoption, pet bathing etc. Love it.

DIY dog wash rocks! I love taking my husky so I don't have to deal with the fur blocking my drains:). They literally have everything you need.nnUnique and healthy items a-plenty, as well!!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Huge selection for dogs, cats, and small pets. The DIY dog wash is exceptional- very clean, private room, and ALL the items you need to bathe/dry/groom. Dog wash closes 1 hr before the store.nUpdate: great selection for all animals, including small friends :) highly recommend.

We were here maybe 3 weeks ago. My wife went through a bad experience with a cat adoption. Some lady got to the cat first, but wanted a hold and it was 24 hours she had to think about it and talk to her husband while watching my upset toddler. I think they showed my ladies the cat not knowing paperwork was being filled out or something. They tried to correct it by showing my daughter animals.nThe next day my wife called a few times and then they said no holds. They would not even hold the cat till we got there after what happened the previous day. Nor did they call us to tell us that. So again my daughters nap time is thrown off.nWe got there and got the cat. But the people were bearly friendly there. We have been to the Novi many times when we used to live out of there. Super friendly. We had one issue they told us the wrong species of frog and my wife accidentally brought home 2 frogs that eat fish. It took as a while to figure it out. I had to ask for a refund for both even though one was given to a aquarium shop. They gave it too us. The new one down the road from us and is within walking distance has super friendly staff too.nI think this store could use a lessen from these locations.nFunny thing is we walked out with the cat and that other lady walked in. It took us so long to find a cat that's good with a toddler and we finally found one.nIf the was that cold hearted to a toddler, we truly reduced the cat.nEdit.nI still don't see anything in your reply about your staff not being friendly and trying not to be helpful. Why this store lacks customer service compared to others.nStaff was not trying to work hard so they had time to call. Possibly upsetting a toddler promised a cat twice she couldn't have probably didn't matter to them.
