Incredible. I love me some Hansen's but hadn't checked this spot out and glad I did. For context, I've only visited 1x (yesterday) but the experience (thank you Margaret) alone drove me to write this.nnGoal: Running shoes for my 13-year old son (secondarily running shoes for me). MARGARET to the rescue!!!nnMargaret was incredibly patient with both of us. Through throughout the process from inspecting our old shoes, to measurement, to assessing gait both walking and on the treadmill (including recording the treadmill sessions to compare). I've never been more impressed in a running-focused store. We are committed to Gazelle sports and thank you Margaret!nnOccasionally I use brick and mortars to physically inspect goods and then bounce online for price comparisons and potential purchase. If there is a premium on price, if you received a fraction of the service I did, I hope you'll consider buying gear at Gazelle Sports.

Amazing customer service, since they opened in Birmingham. They go above and beyond. Very knowledgeable sales staff, great selection. If they don’t have what you want or need, they find it for you!nThey even went so far as to order a shoe for me from the manufacturer and have it sent to my house!!! They didn’t make a penny on that but they insisted because they wanted to be sure I had the right shoe for my needs. Now that’s pretty fantastic! Great clothing and accessories for your sporting good needs, too.

At the recommendation of a sales associate, I purchased a SmartWool shirt and vest for cold weather running and skiing. I couldn't be happier. The sales staff is incredibly knowledgable and friendly and the selection is excellent.

Quintessential store for runners of all levels and experience. From shoes and apparel to recovery tools and race day essentials, this place has it all. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable—and attentive!
