Buddy had just received a Hoyt off Facebook needed some work done to it. Ron was the man super friendly guy, An seems very knowledgeable with bows. I will continue being a customer at maple lane!!!
Good place to bring your bow/crossbow for repairs, make a purchase, and he also offers ski rentals!nnHe called me ASAP when my crossbow was ready, and had my cable replaced within a week of me dropping it off.nnHe closes at 5 but will come out until 6 if you give him a call.nnThe only reason I rate 4 stars instead of 5 was after picking up my crossbow and paying to use the range, the owner let me know to only shoot at the square targets then left to the store.nn1 shot at the square target and my arrow went nearly all the way through. My 20” bolts tip was just barely poking out the other side while the other end was completely swallowed whole by the bag.nnTook me a few minutes to wiggle and rip it out, but not without ripping off some of my fletching. Almost lost my entire arrow and while I recovered the shaft, I do need to repair the fletching now.nnI would like to think if he was there and I let him know he would have fixed it for me and put in an order for a new target but he wasn’t so I assume I’m sol. I may still call to let him know the target isn’t doing it’s job but not sure if I’ll even come to repair the fletching since he’s so far away.nnI don’t like to focus on the bad, and he’s a nice guy and did a great job. It’s just real frustrating paying to use the range and only getting one shot off due to things beyond my control
