Five years ago, on Father's day, my wife decided to take me to a nursery (she knows me so well). Long story short, the nursery wasn't open. We googled nearby nurseries and found Specialty Growers. It was a muddy, rainy spring day and I left the nursery (my wife stayed in the car) soaked with a trunk full of treasures. This is a nursery well worth trudging around in the rain to visit (though it is awesome on drier days too)
A lot of natives, uncommon cultivars, and hard to find species. One of the best nurseries in Michigan!
Been going there for my perennials for many years. They are always helpful, and their plants have done well in my back yard.
Great selection at a great value. Talk to anyone here for good advice in your gardening journey!
I never go wrong getting my plants from here. The staff are so knowledgeable and the plants are always healthy, coming back year after year.
