Great place to unwind. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Great music from around the country to be enjoyed there regularly. However, as the oldest bar in Rockford, it could use some upgrades. Gets pretty packed on nights with bands, the bathrooms are less-than-desirable, and it has a funky smell that's a bit off putting. But they do have good drinks, including nice Scotch, and are generally friendly. I really wish the owners would invest in some needed upgrades to really make this a better place. With it's location near the river, some additions and thoughtful planning could make this the best bar in the area!
