I always have bad experiences with this place. I guess it's the only gig in town that takes the insurance. I haven't been seen by a dentist in almost twelve years. To be sent home was appalling. I had an appointment and got sent home because I was honest that I am cannabis user. I don't think I want this place touching my teeth anyway when they bleed inexperienced. There has been so many hassles with this little place I would recommend anywhere else. I had a tooth that was still alright and they were talking about having to pull it? I will go anywhere else. Even Vancouver before I will go here again.

I had one dental appointment and one doctor’s appointment with them. The healthcare providers were nice and friendly, but I cannot say the same about several other employees. They committed a whole list of errors that stemmed from just one day. Up to this point, I have not received one single apology. They make too many mistakes and they do not apologize for any.nnThe following is the list of errors committed by Family Health Center:nn1. Promised me that I would not be charged for anything else other than what I was scheduled for and, if they felt that I needed additional services, they would notify me before proceeding. If the company cannot keep its word, do not assure me that you can.n2. Charged me $219 for something I was not scheduled for.n3. Falsely justified that saying “I was scheduled for the wrong thing”.n4. Falsely justified that saying “I was supposed to have an 'establishing care' appointment”.n5. Sent me over to the billing facility, then back to the clinic facility, then back to billing, then back to the clinic. By the way, the manager at the clinic facility already assumed that it was an error from the billing department and complained about them to me. Error committed by different employees, but nevertheless by Family Health Center.n6. Both the clinic and the billing facility told me that they would call me the same week, but no one did.n7. After a phone call from me to the clinic facility, another employee told me that they would call me back in a few days, but no one did.n8. An employee from the billing department called me after a long time and told me that the charge was dropped and everything was fixed. One more false statement from Family Health Center.n9. Family Health Center replaced the $219 charge to two $150 charges (total $300).n10. The $219 was dropped from their system, but not communicated with my insurance, causing more headache and problems for me to solve. I should not spend one minute of my time solving problems from their lack of communication, but in fact I have spent quite a lot.n11. I have personally been to the billing facility and to the clinic facility and I have explained at both places that the $219 charge was still on my insurance provider system because Family Health Center had not communicated to them that this charge should be dropped. It was not enough for them to fix it. I had to send several emails over one year later in order to fix this.n12. After two months, a third and new argument was created to justify the higher charge: “you requested assistance with condition ‘A’ and condition ‘B’”. I have not requested an appointment change. My only request on that day was the one explained on the error #1 on this list.n13. No one called me or sent me any email to explain why they were changing what they said was fixed and decided to add another $150 charge. The lack of communication from Family Health Center is a clear and constant problem.nnWhat makes me the most sad about my experience with Family Health Center is that after being polite with them and explaining everything several times, they never apologized for anything. We all know that mistakes happen, but this company doesn’t take responsibility for any of their mistakes. Instead, they just keep on trying to justify them.

I love doctors but the front desk needs some help. It's really frustrating for me to call only to have it either be ignored or have it straight up go to some disconnected phone notice.nnPlease get friendlier front desk people.

They never answer the phone, and if they do they are rude especially the old lady and the big gal. Most of the MAs are great but the front desk people are rude, and illiterate. Most of the PAs can’t really help you or they act like your issues aren’t relevant you’ll have to see them at least 4 times before they actually decided to prescribe you any type of medication.nI recommend you do not go here.

This place is a Joke, i been on hold for my mom for almost an hour. Just to get her meds refilled. And still no one has answered my calls. This is the fourth time i have called!!!
