For the best personal banker, contact Jane Zaleski. She is not only thoughtful and knowledgeable but is willing to go the extra mile. She takes the time to develop a personal relationship with you. I used to be with Chase where I never saw the same person. This is a completely different experience. I didn’t know that banking could be this enjoyable.nThank you Jane and Village Bank!

I am also not impressed with this banking institution and would caution others on banking here. We needed to cash a cashier's check issued by this exact bank earlier in the day. They told us they couldn't cash the check, couldn't validate it's authenticity in lieu of cashing the check, and even if they could cash the check they would charge us for doing so. This behavior of an organization is comparative to scam organizations and fraudulent organizations. I've banked with 15 other banks before and never had this much trouble especially with a check issued by the exact bank in question. ANY legitimate financial institution which issues cashier's checks can validate its own checks' authenticity, Period.

The bankers are always nice and helpful. I couldn't get the account I wanted but I do love my savings account. This bank is always clean and newly remodeled with coffee. The after hours drive thru is great!

Do not believe a word of these other reviews. The bank does not maintain or upgrade their technology and their customer service is horrible. Technology wise they are the slowest to adopt simple pay systems like apple pay, took them over 2 years of time. They still have not adopted any of the other payment systems like Android or Samsung. Card was comprised one time and they did nothing and provided horrible customer service to get it fixed. They also just turn off your card because they believe it is comprised and left me stranded in D.C. and no one was available during a Saturday or Sunday. You wait on line for over 30 minutes for service and support and than they do not help and just Hang Up. Thanks Kendrick for your horrible customer service skills, and thank you to Gina for Screaming at me over the phone. You are a great example of how not to treat a customer.nnIf you expect a bank to provide customer service that is Friendly or Fast I would head on down the Street and avoid Village Bank and Trust.
