The food was some of the worst we have had in a very long time. First time in years I wanted to ask for my money back. There was a bone in the BBQ sandwich and the BBQ sauce and ranch were both thin and didn't taste good. The kids didn't finish their food, nor did I. I will not go back again. $36 wasted. The people were nice and there are cute handmade gifts for sale though.

There are not many places to eat in Mentone. We stopped in one night to get to-go orders for our crew back at the rental cabin. We ordered the loaded fries which were tasty, but not the best (add chili and they would be perfect), a BLT - good but dry, needed mayonnaise (not sure if it was left off or if you have to request it). My husband got onion rings which were very good.nnMy daughter ordered a bacon and pineapple pizza and it was delicious!!! Thus the 5 star review. Definitely get pizza here. It was awesome.nnWe came back the next day just to buy glass bottle sodas after walking through town and we sipped them on the rocking chairs and benches out front and watched cars pass through town. It was a reminder of simpler times.nnInside you can find unique snacks, a few bare bones necessities groceries such as milk, crackers, a few canned goods, handmade soaps, t-shirts, etc...nnIt was a cute little place to visit and the folks working were super friendly.nnAlso, Google said cafe was open for take-out only. As of August 2020 the dining area was open for in-house seating.

Friendly, clean . Sign o/s asks you wear mask..they have a box of them & sanitizer bf you go in, my thx. Good variety. Go. It's interesting

Mentone Market is great for lunch and dinner. My family likes the loaded fries and pizza. They have great sandwiches and burgers. They have a small market for quick general items.
