Breakfast on an early Saturday morning. Don't know the story, but waitress was the cook too? Maybe somebody didn't show up.... But it took quite a while to get food and coffee refills. She did a great job considering. Only 2 other people in while we were there. Anyway food was great and worth the wait. They had some cool breakfast items on the menu but we kept it simple.

We ate here while staying at the Mountaineer Hotel to ride the Hatfield–McCoy trails. The diner is only a couple blocks away making it easy to walk to from the hotel. Great little diner to have breakfast before riding. Very inexpensive, nice size servings, and very clean restaurant and bathrooms. The lady working did a super job taking our orders, cooking, and serving. She also did a fantastic job dealing with rude customers who did not like that the diner is complying with the state restrictions for Covid-19. My family appreciated the sacrifices this small business is taking to ensure customer safety during these unprecedented times.

The food is really good if you can get what you order. Ive been here 3 different times and they are always out of what you order. How can you expect to run a restaurant that serves breakfast and not have gravy and hash browns not once but twice. Doubt ill be going back.

Good food when u can get it.. Depends on who's working I guess.. The last 3 weekends I've called to place a order. And they always say thier out of biscuits and ain't making more.. And usually rude and sound intoxicated this morning..

I've been there a handful of times and I really liked this little restaurant. The food was cooked to order and the portions were huge. They, of course, have a railroad themed menu. Probably a little hard to find for non-residents due to being on the outskirts of town, but worth the trip.
