If it would be possible to give this place 0 stars I would! The blond young lady there tonight was very rude! We are visiting from out of town and saw the reviews and decided to stop and grab some ice cream. My daughter asked for her ice cream in a cup but also wanted a cone to go. The young lady was rude to my daughter and went to the back to make her ice cream on her way back she stopped another employee to make comments about what my daughter had ordered. After she brought the ice cream cone back upside down in a cup we politely explained that we wanted them separate. She got angry and started grabbing at it being very very rude. At that point I was mad. I asked her is there a problem with what er asked? If there is please let me know because it doesn't seem like a bug task to me! We will not come back when in town again. The ice cream is good but over priced.
Everything you hope for in a local ice cream shop. Ellen's is a staple of Charleston. Their ice cream is delicious, service always with a smile, and delicious food, too!
Double scoop chocolate on sugar cone was great but my wife's hot fudge Sunday not so much...
I could eat the coconut ice cream and the mocha almond all day long!
Delicious ice cream, Gelato and sorbet with wonderful flavors!
