This is such a tremendous place to be if you are in the hospital. I am going on for rehab today, but I was asked if I would post something about this place. I said yes I would. First off, the doctors here were very comprehensive with medical care here. The nurses second are great with doing all the things they had to do with me. The respiratory and rehab departments helped me get up and get back to moving again. I cannot tell you how nice it was to sit out in the hallway and not be staring at the ceiling all the time laying in bed. These people know what they are doing, and I happily come back here if I had too.

I’ve had a great stay here. Everyone has been wonderful. The nurses and the respiratory teams took good care of me. My wounds are in much better condition. I’m leaving today for rehab because the rehab team got me ready to go. I hope I never have to come back, but if I have to, I’ll be happy to come back here.

This place was amazing. I mean everyone here treated me the best. I’m not from Charleston, but this hospital is a little gem in the Kanawha valley. I’d definitely come back here if I had too. I’m suppose to leave today for more rehab, but I plan to visit next time I’m in the area. Thanks Select!

Just being honest~~when I first came here a couple people seemed kinda rude, but the longer I was here the better it got. I’m up and walking far more than I ever have. The nurses now have been real good to me. The doc comes in and asks how I’m doing and I tell him and he says keep it up you are doing good. And I am going home today as soon as my family gets here. It would be a tough call, but just being honest, if the VA didn’t have a bed~~I’d come back here.
