Buck's Place in Charleston WV out on Sissonville Rd is a typical dive bar. Its a great bar with a lot of locals that hang out there.nnThis was the second bar that Tony and I went to when we first met 30 yrs ago. Its one of those small little dimly lit places where everyone knows your name.nnThe bar is old and wooden square bar top. Beer, pool table, a few small tables and a juke box. That's about it. No liquor, beer only!!!!

Buck's reminds me of one of those cool old hole-in-the-wall joints your dad or an uncle would tell you about from back in his day. Except Buck's is a stand-alone building. Don't go looking for a mixed drink...no no. Bottled beer, a pool table, and a jukebox are what's on the menu here! And some nice people (but they're not on the menu..).
