Authentic. Just like home. I should have took a picture before devouring it, but looked too good to wait any longer. Good portions. Fresh food.

My son and I were driving by on I-10 yesterday and stayed overnight in Van Horn. We ate at R&J's Bar and Grill in the bar area. The food was wonderful, prices (food and drinks) were good and the staff was very friendly.nI would highly recommend RJ's to anyone

Nice little bar/restaurant. Stumbled in while we were in Van Horn. One of the nicer places in town.nFood was great as was the service.

This place is pretty great has two sides one with a bar and the other more appropriate for children to eat.

American comfort food served with a smile. I enjoyed the country fried steak, but for 5 stars the question I have is why ruin the plate with phony mashed potatoes?
