It's been a long time since I've been to La Play Maya. Use the go to the location by the stock yards. Drove by this location on Hemphill and decided to try it. Glad I did. The food was as good as I remembered. The service was exceptional and friendly. I ordered the Mexican Dinner. It was so good. I'll be coming back here sooner than later
Usually very good. Always get the Maya plate. This time the kids got fajitas. Service was lacking and good tasted different than usual. Will try again because it's usually very good
Good food and great waitressing
Ivy was an excellent server!!!! We always get the corner table in the back left as you enter. I love the way my XX Equis was served- icy cold glass, a thin kiss of salt. With a lime wedge, a a bottle of my fav, dressed with napkin over the neck & rim. I had f the chicken Flautas!!$! Not greasy, but crispy & hot as dickens on the inside. My friend jad the Cevichi.......
The food was underwhelming. I feel that people go here because its been running for so long. The waitress we had kept mixing up our order. Then they charged 101.00 on my boyfriends account even though we only spent 50. Her head was somewhere else. Wouldn't consider coming back mainly because of the food.
