Dr. Steven K. Matous was my surgeon Nov 1, 2017 for a thyroidectomy and lymph node biopsy. His skill removed my thyroid and left my vocal chords and parathyroid glands undisturbed, which is a huge benefit to my health and a huge appreciation emotionally. His positive pragmatism gave me the details of my procedure, and the facts of my cancer with compassion and caring all accompanied by a kind smile and funny bowtie. He also interacted promptly and helpfully with my family and answered all the questions we had. His positive attitude gave me hope for my long term recovery. His staff was efficient and caring as well. I highly recommend Dr. Matous and his team for surgical procedures. If needed, I will see him again.
