I have never before felt compelled to review a grocery store, but this store in Port Isabel has the worst management of any HEB I’ve ever been in. Only 3 registers open and one was the ‘express’ lane. The lines were halfway back in the shopping aisles. A call was made to open more registers and after well over 5 minutes, one more did open but I had to bag my own groceries in order to help expedite the line. Absolutely pathetic!! Makes me happy to be leaving the area on March 1. I wish a zero star rating was available.
One of the most basic HEB stores I have ever seen as a native Texan. No seafood department which was surprising given it's on the southern coast of Texas. Other items are also sparsely stocked. You have to drive to Brownsville to get a proper HEB
Great experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My friend and I asked where the Chia Seeds were and Dustin directed us to exactly where they were and then when we were on the way out he made sure to tell us to have a nice day. ☺ufe0f
Great smaller Heb, very clean, great varieties and great prices. Get in out very easily. Great store!
This is a pretty small HEB but well stocked, clean and it has all of the essential items you'd need. They do not have a pharmacy so I assume if you are looking into covid vaccinations you won't find it here.
