Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital: Emergency Room

I hate that I have to give this hospital 1 star. I saw the ER in Jan. 2020. I got a notice that I had been turned over to two collection agencies for lack of payment. I never received the first bill, email, call or text. After thre different people at two places checking into it they couldn’t explain why the bill went to an address in Nashville that was undeliverable. Another said the bill was sent to Chattanooga and yet a third was sent to an out of state city but with my street address. Inexcusable! No one can explain why, knowing they get all that information when you check in, they sure wouldn’t miss getting their money. I even called the CFO to get an explanation. He said he would check into it and call me back and I never got that call. I have excellent credit and I don’t like it when someone is so pathetic that they can’t even bill correctly. I had to call my insurance company to get the straight of it. I WILL NEVER go back there

This is for the ER. Ridiculous! I was really hoping putting Vanderbilts would make a difference butud83dude24. I just wanted some help for my poor baby.

I had a very nice visit today 5/12/19. The staff were polite and prompt. I had to be seen for a work related injury and they had me diagnosed, in and out in no time. Cindy Key was the np that I saw and she is fabulous! Thank you for taking such good care of me! Back to work!!
