I saw APN Rushing this morning and cried the entire way home. I went for anxiety and a refill on my asthma inhaler as I have not had a primary care doctor since moving to Nashville. At no point did I ask for medication specifically, but about 3 minutes into our basic conversation about my medical history, I was told that there is an Opioid crisis in Tennessee and she couldn't throw pills at me. I had to look up what an Opioid was. When did I ask for narcotics?! I was treated like I had substance abuse issues then shoved out of the door. She didn't even address the asthma. She zeroed in on the anxiety, spoke to me like I was a drug addict looking for pills, and sent me on my way. I am someone who doesn't even take Tylenol when they have a headache so to be treated this way was mind blowing. I will NEVER go there again. I went to this appointment to finally establish a relationship with a primary care doctor in Nashville and address concerns that I have and left feeling disrespected, disgusted, and categorized. Now I'm back to square one and will be looking elsewhere for medical care. If you want to be treated like a human being, I suggest you go elsewhere or ensure that you see a different provider. Unbelievable.nnEDIT: I called the patient relations team on the day that it happened. It has been 4 days and no one has returned my call. I left another message today.

Walked in off the street. Was checked in and seen within 10 minutes. The staff, from Thomas at the registration desk, to the nurse and Dr Batson were all extremely pleasant, efficient and caring!! The facility was shiny clean and Covid protocol was in full effect.nI was very apprehensive about this visit, but, turns out I had nothing to fear. I will definitely return if need arises in the future. THANK YOU for your professional care! ⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f

Horrible experience. The physician that was working didn’t do a thing, asked me what I wanted home to do. Um, which one of us when to medical school? Treated me like I didn’t know a thing. Never did an exam. Was no help in any sort of way. Already contacted Vanderbilt patient relations.

I was able to schedule an appointment for urgent care and walk-in during the designated time. The receptionist was friendly and processed my information quickly. I was surprised that I didn’t have to fill out a bunch of medical forms and just answered a few questions. My appointment started on time and I was in and out of the office in under an hour. Great staff and facility!

Front office staff and medical assistant were great...5 stars. However the nurse practitioner (Stacey) was awful...0 stars. Very rude, didn’t want to listen, refused to review medical records (cancer patient at Vanderbilt) and didn’t even do a physical exam. Offered no help. Don’t waste your time going here!
