A friend recommended The Hammond Kitchen restaurant. We were not disappointed. Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional food, staff are pleasant and accommodate your needs (we had party of eight and the long table was perfect). For a nice setting of two or more, go to The Hammond (reservation highly recommended)nnPS Post CV19 will only improve one's experience.

I've frequented this establishment a few times, since it is across the street from my place of employment. Usually I don't have much more time then a quick stop at the bar for a cocktail and a burger or a sandwich. However, I can highly recommend pretty much any burger on the menu; you really can't go wrong with any of them. They are always cooked to perfection, moist and juicy and well paired with whatever sides or condiments accompany them.nnI would avoid the reuben, when it is available. I did not appreciate the texture of the cheese they melted inside; it was a bit to...phlegm-y (man, I really hate to have to use that adjective, but that's how it was perceived). That is my only negative mark against this place, as every other time the experience has been filled with friendly servers, prompt service and delicious food. Obviously it has to be good, or I wouldn't keep coming back.nnShout out to the California Deviled Eggs as one of the best iterations of this dish I've ever had!

I came to the Hammond with very high expectations after reading so many high reviews. The server even claimed that this will be my new favorite restaurant in the area. So here’s my honest & unbiased review.nnThe server was fantastic. His communication and skill set is the reason this is not a 3 star review.nnThe coconut prawns were way over cooked. This is something that doesn’t happen at a restaurant with rather higher than normal prices. I communicated to the server and I could tell he sincerely appreciated the feedback, which is a huge +.nnThe cocktails were good, not great. The crab cakes were probably a 3.7 out of 5. Again, I had very high hopes for this place.nnI do plan on visiting again just to see if I can have that “wow” experience. Hoping for the best as I really want to support a local restaurant in our community.
