Nuestra Mesa is a must if you live in Camas. The prices are a little pricey and the food is authentic Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Love the Mexican rock and alternative music but it can be a bit loud sometimes. They started out a very small restaurant and now they’ve taken over another part of the building and it’s very cozy and spacious. I love the decor and the overall feel. The service can be a little hit and miss. We’ve had to wait a little bit sometimes for someone to come get our order or flag someone down. Great place for lunch with friends as well as a romantic dinner with a loved one. The owners are local Camas folks and just super nice and welcoming. I love supporting our local businesses.

I like Mexican food however my opinion of the plate of food is after you start eating no matter what dish it is they all look the same. A pile of rice and beans and mush. My experience at Nuestra Mesa was completely different. My meal was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Even after I was full the plate still looked great and organized. The food here is above any Mexican place I have ever eaten. The prices are no higher than any Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in my 60 years. I would certainly go back again and again. They have a bar side and dinner side for families. Both are decorated perfectly and such a warm feeling.

I remember waiting for Mesa to open many years ago. As Todd and Tania worked to prepare the space for their new restaurant, and then later for the expansion into the old twilight Pizza, they were really the first restaurant in town to bring fine food at a reasonable price and an outstanding atmosphere.nThe food is fantastic, and unlike many Mexican restaurants it's not Americanized, it's delicious food, in reasonable portions, expertly prepared, and finely served.

Absolutely worst service and food quality. We decided to try this place out for lunch during a weekend. Because the outdoor seatings were full, we decided to get a table inside. While the tables were six feets apart, we saw many customers leaving their tables without wearing their masks. The restaurant did not do anything about it at all. It took about 10 minutes before a server showed up to take our drink orders. The server returned in about 10 minutes later to take our lunch orders but the ordered drinks still have not arrived. After ordering our lunch, we waited 40 long minutes for the food to arrive. The quality of the food was absolutely terrible. The rice and beans were so dry as if they were left out for quite some time. Mesa bowl was just full of lettuce and not much else of other ingredients. We like Mexican food and frequently visit Mexican restaurants. This place is far worse than Taco Bell and of course they were far more expensive! No, you don't get what you pay for here! We would not recommend this place to anyone unless he/she has a lot of time and is in love with dry rice and beans. One good thing is that they do have decent spicy salsa, which you must request separately.

Started with the fried Brussel sprouts which were delicious. Had the Mesa bowl that I thoroughly enjoyed. This is a very cute family owned restaurant and the patio space is lovelynWill definitely come back
