I like shopping at Steve Madden Shoes on King Street in Charleston as they have a wide selection of quality shoes at really good prices. They have good shoes for pretty much every situation from business to casual and every occasion in between. They seem to always be getting new designs and styles in the store so it is worth coming in every so often to check out what is new. The staff here is helpful enough to make you have a good shopping experience, but not too helpful to get in your way. I have had a good time coming in here throughout the years and seem to come away with a good pair or shoes every time I come here and I am always satisfied with my purchases and like wearing the shoes out there.
I was visiting Charleston for the week and decided to take a quick browse into Steve Madden. When i entered the store i was immediately approached by a man, VERY similar to the description in past reviews. He seemed very friendly and urged me to try on various shoes. I politely agreed to try the shoes, eventually thanking him and making my ways towards the door. The man got extremely hostile when I had turned down the purchases of the shoes HE PICKED OUT FOR ME. It completely ruined my experience with the store, and I WILL NOT return to that store ever again unless there is some change in the attitudes of the employees.
