Phillips Shoes

I went to Phillips shoes today with two of my friends. We all women of color. As soon as we walked in the store we were greeted by the staff which was awesome customer service. As we continued on into the store one of the salespersons followed us as we walked to the UGGs shoes, still not a problem as it appeared that she was trying to see if we had any questions about the shoes. We told her no, and that we knew what we were looking for.nnIt was after we were looking through the shoes, that we noticed she was still watching and when my friend chose the boots she wanted , the salesperson told her that she would put the boots at the counter. My friend said, no, she was still deciding and would hold onto the boots herself. As we were walking away, the salesperson continued to walk along side us watching us as we walked.nnI grew tired of this as it was very obvious that she was watching us. We were the only black customers in the store. The other customers were walking around freely enjoying their shopping. I finally told her please go away this is very harassing. She did finally leave only to send another salesperson who asked me question after question about the shoes I was selecting.nnMy friends and I did buy the items that we selected but never again will I ever spend my hard earned money in a store where I feel that I can not walk around freely and enjoy my shopping. I human being does not have to feel interrogated while doing something as simple as enjoying their leisurely time shopping.nnIn the past I have always enjoyed shopping at this store but I am deeply saddened that I was treated this way and I will never return.

Great selection of high end shoes and helpful staff. Definitely a good shopping experience.
