FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Emergency Room

I am an RN who moved to the Sandhills area of NC from South Florida where I worked at and had top notch health care at a Cleveland Clinic hospital. I have been reluctant to seek care in the area, but decided on this ER because I had heard good things. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility, from the friendliness of the staff to the immaculate condition and prompt treatment in the ER.nThank you so much for a fabulous experience.

Gave one star because I couldn't rate the place -10. Two people in the waiting room. I went in because I was having extreme difficulty breathing. Was there for 15 minutes and a male nurse came into the waiting area and told us that there were no rooms available and we could wait 5 or 6 hours or we could leave. No other choices were given. He checked oxygen levels of the people waiting, including myself. According to him, everyone's oxygen saturation was in the 90's, which I don't believe. Mynfingernails were starting to turn blue. My husband asked him to listen to my breathing and he just ignored him.What happened to the three of us is criminal. I feel like I got through that night by the grace of God. How can an emergency room get away with treating people like this?

Wouldnt even give one star really. Only three people in the waiting room and still waited two hours. I had a gash on my face and probably should have had stitches. I was in the room probably 10 minutes. Nurse did not wash out wound ever, dropped glue on it without pulling edges together and tried to make me have a head CT even though I didnt need one. Now I have a wound that is glued OPEN. Gotta make that money. She was much more concerned about me agreeing to the CT that than my condition. Nurses came in twice to get my ID and insurance info, came in twice to treat me and told me I could go without giving ID back. Just the worst care ever. I wont ever go back there.

I went to the emergency room because I wanted to refill my medication since I was new in state and was having a lot of depression. Immediately they wanted to lock my things away like I was a criminal. I left because it made me uncomfortable and they called the cops on me. Wouldn’t even refer me to a therapist or anything. They don’t even have one on site only through telecommunication so idk why i couldn’t do that from somewhere I felt more comfortable. They treated me like a criminal or worst. Never going back. Oh and when I was dealing with a female nurse she was so rude and nasty, I had to ask do you talk to everyone who comes in not feeling well with so much attitude.
