I am so glad we are moving and never have to deal with this office again. Lazy is the only word to describe their workers. You cannot get anything done in a timely manner, you can't get anyone to return your phone calls and they just don't care that most of these issues are time sensitive and need to be handled with professionalism and haste. I would give zero stars if I could. It is a shame they make an uncomfortable process even harder.

I have been sick for months, my family doctor tested my immune system to find that I had a low immune system. He referred me to an immunologist. I chose to go to Carolina Asthma and allergy in Gastonia because it was the closest to my home, still an hour away from where I live. I have continued to stay sick, hanging on to the hope that I had this appointment today. I had a call last night from the office asking the normal Covid questions, to which I responded, I have had a cough for a very long time. I’ve been tested 3 times for Covid because you can’t just be sick. I told the lady the date of my last test and she advised me to come to my appointment and bring my negative Covid results. So, today... I drive over an hour one way, take 5 hours off from work to be turned away at the door for having a cough, which is what I am being seen for and was referred for, I explained my situation to 2 front door people and she asked the doctor, the doctor refused to see me. Why was I turned away for symptoms that I was referred for? They offered a virtual visit, but what good is that? How can you listen to my lungs virtually? I am very upset. I am writing this so that no one else has to be treated like a leper for having a cough. I will tell anyone that will listen not to use this office!

When making an appointment originally, the wait time was around 10 minutes. This could help by allowing even new patients to be able to make appointments online, or have multiple receptionists taking appointments via phone call.nnUpon arriving for my appointment, the receptionists were nice and informative. I love the colorways of the office. I waited only about 5 minutes before getting called to the back.nnMy medical assistant was really nice , listened to my concerns, had a great smile, and was very gentle with performing the back scratch test as well as the second test done on my arm which was a little evasive. She was a ray of sunshine.nnThe doctor I saw was Dr. Seiler , she was knowledgeable , however she seemed in a rush. During our questionnaire when asking a question, it would seem like she would want a short answer but since it was my first visit I wanted to give details. I would end up getting cut off , or her going to the next question quickly. I prefer my experience from a doctor to be warm and attentive which she did not give. The purpose of my overall appointment was to gain understanding of each thing I had an allergy to and to have the list of those things. Towards the end of the meeting she stated the purpose of the appointment was to see if I needed the allergy shot. Which was incorrect, I proceeded to correct her showing that she wasn't listening. I probably will not be back. I did enjoy everything else about the building and staff.

I read the reviews before I visited and was skeptical but after my visit today I am happy to give them 5 stars. The diverse staff is friendly and professional. My wait from registration to seeing the doctor was less than 15 min. Dr. Michael L. (forgot his last name) has excellent bedside manner, attentive, thorough and VERY experienced in his field. The skin test was great, my 5 month old had it done with no crying. The nurses were professional and knowledgeable. I am glad I brought my son here!

I guess with these reviews I had better not try to even begin to get help here. Sorry! I took allergy shots 20 years in Florida and did great with them but I do not want to go through World War 3 to get them.
