Brick House Tavern + Tap

This place was disappointing!! We looked on open table for a place to eat. This place came up and on the menu on open table they advertised a lent special for fish and chips for $9.99. We thought that was great so we booked a table. When we were seated the server asked if we wanted the all you can eat fish and chips. I told her we wanted the $9.99 special. She said they didn’t have a $9.99 special but we could order from the scannable menu on the table. We told her we would do the fish and chips but didn’t want the all you can eat. I’m sure she sensed my aggravation about it so she didn’t really check on us before food. She came over when she had to refill an empty glass but other than that she didn’t bother us. So when the bill came I pulled up the website and showed it to her. She said that they were bought out by Landry’s and aren’t allowed to change the website. I was confused because the advertised special stated that it was through Good Friday on April 3 so this was a recent advertisement. I told her that was the reason I booked the reservation because of the price and wanting fish. Maybe i was being difficult because of the price but this was a $10 price difference. She basically said sorry there is nothing she can do because the website isn’t owned by them and they can’t change it. No offer to at least comp our drinks because of the false advertising or even making it right because that’s what you do. She offered nothing to make it right. Our bill came and it was $42!!! While there was plenty of fish it was so extremely greasy, we barely ate one piece. If they were indeed bought out by Landry’s do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place isn’t worth it!

Love this place! This past Saturday we went to Chesterfield to another restaurant (Bar Louie) for lunch and they would not even seat us for at least 45 minutes even though we said we wouldn't even order food right away.nSo I called Brick House Tavern and they said yes, they would seat us. The food was great, the table was in a great location and the customer service was excellent! We will definitely be back.

It was outstanding!! I’m not sure why on earth this is currently only 3.9 stars? I’m a hard person to please. The environment, fire, food, drinks... it Was all perfect!nnRecommend the peanut butter old fashioned , Brussel sprouts, deviled eggs, and meatballs.

The from the outward appearance to the inner ambiance and delectable dishes, this place is so on point! As a party of 14, every single dish that graced our table was piping hot and cooked to perfection... Let's also point out how attentive and kind the staff was, from the servers to management, nothing but genuine care and concern for our visit. I will DEFINITELY be back again.

Service is the best reason to go here. Kristina in particular is great. The food... Eh... Judging only by the hospitality of the staff (except for one guy... He knows who he is) I would give this place five stars.
