I gave birth to my 3rd son here and at first I was worried because of all the bad reviews I saw or from what I’d hear from others, but my goodness I had such a wonderful experience here. My drs and nurses were kind and understanding and did absolutely everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. They explained everything in detail that would or could possibly happen (I like being in the known about things) there was a complication and the way everyone acted so fast and made everything okay was amazing. I’ll be eternally grateful for the staff and their kindness and all they did for me! 10/10 would recommend!

Let me just say...my experience during my hospital stay last night was above and beyond. My nurse Karla was soooo sweet and gentle with me. The staff were all so genuine and I appreciate that so very much.nThe FOOD at this hospital was very impressive. Mary from the cafeteria was soooo AWESOME AND SWEET! This lady is truly genuine in her ways. Even though we only spoke on the phone I felt like we knew each other for years. She sent me a special treat to my room right now before I get released and I couldn't be happier!nA big THANK YOU to the ER staff and covid 5th floor hospital staff for taking care of me and a special THANK YOU to Mary in the cafeteria/food department who takes the patient orders in the hospital...YOU'RE AWESOME!

Its sad that there are so many reviews of people making the same complaints and yet no one seems to care. I also have not had my concerns and an injury taken seriously. I haven't ever experienced this kind of lack of concern. I am extremely tough. If I complain about something it means it's serious so it's really hard to keep advocating for yourself and continue to be brushed off. I reached out to patient advocacy, but have not heard back.nnDespite my overall bad experiences which are too many to list I did want to say that Dr.Martin and staff were wonderful. They listened to me, were very kind and upheld a different level of professionalism then I experienced anywhere else in the hospital.nnUpdate: After filing an ice complaint a patient advocate finally called me back only because of the complaint. When I explained my frustration he offered no apology and didn't seem to care at all. I let him know I had switched back to Tricare Select due to the issues and he didn't seem to be at all concerned about that. I do feel bad because I think this hospital is extremely understaffed. You can't get through on the phone lines, workers are exhausted. More then anything I would like to advocate for change at the Ft. Leonard Wood Hospital. I hope that change occurs and people can get healthcare they need and staff can not be overworked.

I came in the see the provider for a injury and he sat down with me and put in multiple referrals for symptoms that have been previously ignored by other doctors. Each department I went to as part of my visit lab/pharmacy/referral management were great! Thank you GLWACH!

One singular physician, employed at your facility, was what made me want to give a 5 star rating. I don't really have the best connection with my PCM. But, after experiencing some pretty crazy gynecological issues, it put me in the path of a doctor that I could tell truly cares, Dr. Emily Johannah Rogers. I had my first appointment with her August, 14th, 2020. She took the time to sit with me for atleast 30 minutes to answer my questions, and explain all of the necessary options to help my case. She even made sure that my blood pressure was normal before heading home, and she complimented my shoes.ud83dude09 Since attending this hospital, unfortunately, I have had health professionals make me feels as if what I was experiencing wasn't serious. And, they always seemed rushed, and never wanted to actually take the time. I can tell by her overall disposition that she has such a lighthearted sense of humor, but she takes you seriously and wants to get to the bottom of the issue. Bottom line, I would have given Dr. Roger's a hug...if it weren't for COVID. This is bedside manner that is needed! I highly recommend Dr. Emily Johannah Rogers!
