I love Home Bank - it was one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to my finances (coming from Capital One, years ago).nnThere are so many convenient branches of this bank within the city, but this one is my favorite because of Marcelle. She's knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and always has helpful suggestions; however, I find this to be true for the majority of the staff at all of the branches.nnI love that if you call one of the banks from the number listed on Google, you get an actual person - not an automated system.

St. Martin Bank should of never sold out. I was with St. Martin Bank for at least 8 years before the buy out by Home Bank. Right from the start, it was a bad transition. First, they sent out debit cards that would work half the time, and any other lines of credit that a person had with St. Martin Bank were evidently not carried over. For me this meant overdraft protection. This is what sealed the deal with me. After initially talking to someone at the bank, it took four weeks to get any response. Afterwards, the problem still was not fixed. Luckily. I was able to get the overdraft fees refunded and closed my accounts the next day. My opinion is a person would be better off putting their money into a pickle jar then here.
