Dr. Justin Moore and the staff tried to NOT admit me for treatment, saying I should make an outpatient appointment. This is despite I have health insurance that covers their services. After much back and forth they finally admitted me, and discovered I had a broken foot.nnThe staff was rude. Dr. Moore was not helpful either, for example he did not recommend anyone for me to follow up with to get a cast, and when I asked him to refer me to someone who accepts my insurance, he gave me three names. When I later called the referrals he provided, not one of them accepted my insurance.nnJUSTIN MOORE, HAD ME, ONE PATIENT, THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS THERE. THE PLACE WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY, AND HE COULDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE SURE I RECEIVED THE FOLLOW UP MEDICAL CARE I NEEDED. There is no excuse for this.nnThe X-ray tech took one x-ray without giving me a lead apron. When I asked for it before she took more x-rays she gave it to me, and then stressed how important it is to cover a certain part of your body when getting x-rays. If she believed it was important, which it is, then why didn't she offer it to begin with?nnI do not recommend CHRISTUS Highland Shreveport ER.

Delivered my daughter here. Was well taken care of. Became extremely sick 3 months after. Came to ER and was taken care of. Had to stay in hospital for a week. My health was their #1 priority. Had follow up visits scheduled before leaving hospital with specialist. Had follow up phone calls to check on me. One of the nurses called the floor manager to explain my prescription situation and I was given 4 days of 4 medicines to take home until I could get my prescription filled. (Snow storm, early closures, no deliveries) I am very appreciative of the Doctors, Nurses, lab techs, housekeeping staff, and nutritionist who all took care of me. My life was saved.

Was transferred here after an ER visit at Christus Bossier. I had an awesome experience! All the nurses and staff were so kind and friendly. They asked if I needed anything always, asked how I felt and always told me they hoped I felt better. If I wanted juice at midnight, they brought it to me, or if I needed help, they came. This was my first time ever in a hospital and I was treated exceptionally. I would only come here for any future treatment. 5 stars!!

I went in (8/20/20) with a rather unbearable amount of pain from what we're all pretty sure was a kidney stone. While I did have to wait a short bit, that's life. The triage nurse immediately recognized I was in quite a bit of pain and did her best to accelerate the process and within about an hour of arrival and assignment of a bed they gave me something to relieve the pain. Whatever it was worked pretty well. They seemed pretty busy cause there were nurses and staff running all over the place, but they didn't just completely ignore me despite that. It did take a while from admitting to discharge, but that sort of thing happens when you gotta run a CT scan, blood work and urinalysis. It's doubly difficult when you can't give then urine to analyze. By the time I was discharged the pain was no worse than a dull ache and it hasn't kicked past a 3 or 4 since where it was a solid 10.nnI'm not sure what all these 1* reviews were expecting. A lot of them come off really entitled and seem to lack an understanding of how emergency medical care works and who actually needs it. They took as much care of me as anyone else could or would have, and I'm very appreciative.

First time here today and I can honestly say that the treatment was excellent. From reception to nurses and doctors I was treated with compassion and courtesy, My attending physician was thorough, listened to my concerns, and made sure that I understood the treatment I received.
