What a horrible place to bank!!!! I went to the bank to cash my first check from my company. I was unable to go into the bank because of covid19 so everything was handle at the window. I was told to open up a checking acct it will take 10 to 15 mins tops to wait in the drive through to process the acct application. Now 45 mins into waiting my battery die and I was told by the actual banker that he had people before me i had to wait. What bank would just tell you to sit out side in a hot car if they knew they were to busy but knew I was going to wait. longer because the banker wasnt available Didnt even offer to help so I ask for the manager and they refused me her number and closed my window. I had to find someone to jump my car. It took me 2 1/2hours to get home and they didnt cash my check. I was mortified.

They deserve zero-stars, but that option isn't available. What a terrible level of customer service at Suntrust in Alpharetta. My wife opened a new checking account, funded it, and was told she would get a debit card in the mail, which she did about a week later. She went to authorize the card via the bank's 800 number, and was declined, informing her she needed to stop by the branch without any explanation why. Called the branch 3X to understand what was going on, as she received no written correspondence or call from the bank to alert her that her funds were not available. Finally spoke with the branch, and they need copies of her ID documents. When asked why they didn't take copies when they were presented at time of account opening, they could not explain. Should note that I called on behalf of my wife twice for the branch manager, who apparently didn't feel that customer service was important enough to return my calls. I would not do business with this bank for all the tea in China. They are going through a merger, which will only be messier, and its no wonder that Suntrust has been a failing bank given this total disregard for customer service. Too many other banks out there to be forced to deal with an institution that has this level of stupidity and lack of customer care. Go somewhere else to bank.
