Years ago this was, without question, the BEST bank on the island.nThen, about three years ago, its lack of service & attitude of employeesnwent straight downhill. Literally....no one cares. The parking lot is empty...& the two or possibly three employees could care less. ...even wondering:nwhy I would want to cash a check vs doing so on linennI have been a customer for more than TWENTY years so I can speak with some authority. At this point, I have had enough & will transfer my account to another bank.
Walked in to two BOA employees talking to each other. There was NO ONE else in the office. I asked if they could help me complete a wire transfer and was told to go online. I asked if they could help me do it in the branch and they said they were all booked up on appointments for today. They had zero people in line/waiting and somehow neither one of them could help me. It was a huge waste of time and I waited on hold for 45 min.
When I noticed I didn't have a BoA near my hometown, I was able to use this location to get a cashier's check with ease. The clerk was wonderful and there was no wait.
I think this Bank of America has 2 employees max. They never have tellers or people at the front. Leave the island if you need to go to a Bank of America
They don't answer the phone. Tried FIVE times today.
