I searched far and wide in the area for a specific brand of raw food for my dog, and Urban Pets is the only store that carries it. I am outside of the delivery area without a car, but the owners very graciously did me a favor and dropped it off for me.nnI do a lot of research on pet nutrition, and their product selection tops any other store in the vicinity.nFor the highest quality dog food, exceptional product knowledge, and above and beyond customer service, this is now my go-to! I highly recommend Urban Pets.

I heard about Urban Pets Fort Lauderdale through a mutual friend that had nothing but great things to say about this new local business located on Federal Highway. My one and a half year old Basset Hound Winston needed new kibble so I called 'em up -- and am I glad I did! Carlos was kind, knowledgable and genuine about telling me the pros of the food they carried and what would be best for my little man. You can tell that Urban Pets prides itself on carrying quality product + forming happy connections with their customers and our fur-babies. We went with Orijen brand dry dog food, which Carlos explained had much more benefits and nutrients than Winnies old stuff, some treats, and a fun new (indestructible) dog toy called a Monster Mouth (which Winston LOVES!) Fun fact: they even stopped by the grocery store on their way to deliver our order for pumpkin puree to mix into Winston's new food so it would be easier on his tummy. I mean, talk about 5-star customer service! Urban Pets is now my go-to whenever I need something for my sweet pupper. I simply call them up and they already know what we need and have it delivered same-day.nnOh! And did I mention that they beat any price/price-match Chewy? Offer curbside pickup and FREE DELIVERY? Because they do!

I absolutely love coming to Urban Pets. The Owner is friendly and accommodating. He always gives me great advice on brands to use for my furry family. I often shop there to pick up all my pet supplies including shampoo, cat litter, dog treats, and much more. So happy they deliver as well Because I will be using that service as well. Thank you Urban Pets for providing such an amazing service

Came here not knowing exactly which food our dogs needed. We wanted one type that would work for our 2 mini poodles as well as out German Shepherd.nnCarlos was extremely patient and took his time explaining all of the options making sure we got the best option possible considering both quality and price range. A bonus is that he does free delivery which we will definitely be taking advantage of.

Urban Pets is such a great new addition to Fort Lauderdale. The store owners have really done their research and know every detail of the items they carry. They were able to change my pups diet in an effort to help with wound healing and he loves it! It is extremely refreshing to have people really stand behind the items sold in their store and to hear the ‘why’ behind certain products being better than others. All pets are unique when it comes to food and special needs however Urban Pets certainly has something to offer everyone. If you haven’t visited yet you are missing out!
