Island Pet has always let my girls look at all the animals, and even let them hold a few of the pets. They love to ask questions and learn about the animals from Bill.
I went there and there was a beta fish (alive) in a cup with about a micro sip of water in it.... the fish was breathing and just lying there with about not even half of its body covered. It’s tail and fins weren’t even covered with water. I ended up pouring water from a glass nearby into the cup and the fish was barely moving almost dead. Makes you think about how he takes care of the other animals, and the owner was extremely rude. This place needs to be shut down.
Ok assortment of supplies, store needs much needed cleaning though
Awesome local pet shop, I always come here always treated right, I got my leopard gecko and a Iranian crested gecko, they were well taken care of and happy and he’s very kid friendly !!!
Bill has salt & fresh water fish, hand fed baby birds, and small animals. He can help with all your pet needs!
