I've never been super happy with my steaks from Texas Roadhouse so I've tended to stick with ribs and pulled pork, which are great. But this last time I tried a Dallas Filet, butterfly cut, medium, and it was great. I still like Outback's steak a little more because they have the awesome sauce with bacon on top, but Texas has the rolls and honey butter, which is amazing, and I like their baked potatoes and chef salads better.

My sister had visited before on a previous trip here so it was time to introduce me to it’s awesomeness! Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, they were required to physically distance their patrons, and employees wore masks.nnAfter a short wait, and text message alert, we were seated. The signage outside encouraged us to scan the QR code for the menu which we did. Our server was cordial and cute. Standard operating procedure: drinks, appetizers and then entrees.nnThis Texas Roadhouse didn’t offer / carry Shiner! I’m not one to complain (everyone else is better at it) but any self-respecting Texas Roadhouse would have vats / kegs of Shiner.nnI digress.nnThe bread tray was evil - cinnamon butter with the softest bread this side of the Mississippi. Everyone complaining about their Freshman 15 while I’m gaining on my COVID 19 (see what I did there?)nnMy entree selection... Fort Worth Ribeye, “smothered” (mushrooms, gravy) with baked potato and corn. My sister had steak medallions, both were cooked to our preference.nnSo if you’re not here for a long time, but here for a good time - post up at the Texas Roadhouse! (Cool points docked for the Shiner absence)

Ate outside under the sun with no shade umbrella in 100 degree weather ......we had dirty silverware and a plate ......then waitress never came to refill our water or drinks entire time we were there !!! Not a good experience this time .

Texas Roadhouse is the best place to get a steak done the way you want it. The servers know the menu and are very helpful and friendly. With things as they are there may be a wait but it is well worth a 60 mile drive for us.
