Gesa Credit Union

I'm closing my account with them if I can. I try every few days to get ahold of somebody. Wait on hold for an hour or two then give up to try another day. I make it into the branch the other day and they told me they were all too busy to help and to come back another day. So here I am a few days later on hold again, 1 hour 23 minutes deep. Maybe today's the day.

I’m in the process of doing a small business loan. I am working with Al T. I find paperwork slightly confusing, Al took the time to actually sit down and go thru the paper work with me. Now days things can be so impersonal it’s nice to be doing business with a credit union who cares.

Have not been able to reach customer service through their online chat or after 1-2 hours on hold since they went through a merger three weeks ago. I sent off emails to every address I could find earlier today and will update this review if I hear back from someone.

I have had an auto loan with Gesa for about a year now, and decided to open up a Savings account. David Barr helped me out and has been phenomenal! Very straight forward about what I needed to do, and helped me through the process smoothly. He is also a very good conversationalist.

So I called, because I needed reports on my account for the house I'm getting and they tell me the Huntington ST. Lobby is open..i arrive there. It most certainly was not open and I had 30 minutes to do this... i use hapo quite frankly but my girlfriend in whom this has screwed over will be shutting down her account and be transferring to my bank. I've seen gesa screw her time and time again over and over. This is just the straw that broke the camels back.
