The transportation office is horrible, when It comes to effectively communicating with parents, especially the route supervisor. We are new to the county and within the first week of transportation services, I have had to call the transportation office multiple times to determine where my child is. I have a special needs student, who has limited communication ability, so I need to be sure that transportation, as well as the school is diligent. My student arrived to our stop an hour late yesterday. Transportation knew his driver was at least 30 minutes late at 3:00, which is 45 minutes before my son’s drop off time at his stop. No call or anything at anytime prior to 3:30. Which is within the 10 minute window that they request for a parent to wait at the stop for drop off and pick up. When I had to call after my son was 20 minutes late, the route supervisor was full of excuses, and didn’t seem to understand that that if their bus tracking app is not set up to monitor transportation vehicles that convoy students, and they aren’t to alerting parents to excessive delays (more then 10 to 15 minutes), that this is a problem. Completely ridiculous.
They rock. Always helpful even on the most hectic day. Mrs Virginia got us squared away quick.
The Warren County Transportation is one of the best places I could ever go to! The bus drivers are always nice (as long as you don't get on their nerves), and the secretary there is always willing to help out the anyone that has issues with the buses or cars used in transportation!
I rode bus 56 2 years ago and it was the most horrible experence I have ever had. The bus driver had the back of the bus completely empty and the front was packed with kids and whenever somebody got up to go to then back she gave them a bus referral. I remember once there were 5 people to a seat. fix your roster on employees
The bus driver who drives for the High school/Middle school and goes to Skyland Estates drives horribly and is not caring for the kids at all, tried to make me sit on the floor and I said no and got off. Please replace her, she is not bus driver material.
