If there’s a worse hospital in the state of KY I’d seriously hate to see it. I’ve had 3 surgeries scheduled within 7 days of each other and they have stuck me with an alcoholic roommate going through withdrawals. He has a bed alarm that goes off every time he moves. He babbles non-stop. Multiple times a day 4-5 nurses are fighting with him to cooperate. Long story short, I haven’t slept a wink in over 48 hours, and I’m supposed to have surgery in just two hours. The man in my room belongs in a psych ward. All of my efforts to be moved rooms or have this situation rectified have been ignored. The new nurse that is supposed to be in here to watch him is sitting against the wall blaring videos on her phone. Removing all possibility of even a small nap before surgery. This is absolutely ridiculous and if you care about your loved one, take them to another hospital.

Horrible experience. Never, was I assigned a specific doctor and none of the staff ever seemed to be on the same page. Majority of the nurses were rude and acted in unnecessary manners with the acception of a few who were very helpful and proactive in my medical treatment. As for the rest of them, I strongly suggest a serious reality check and a change of heart before something bad happens to them and /or their patients. I do NOT wish this place or this experience on my worst enemy. I will not be back here at this facility!

At ob appointment. Entry into facility is painless and they are practicing all the guidelines recommended for social distancing. Drs. Office is clean and never over crowded. Staff is friendly and helpful. Happy with my choice of facilities and group of Dr.s, assistants, nurses, and students.

My mom was discharged from University of Louisville Hospital last night and I have to say the experience was a complete nightmare. She was in for a total of 18 days for a brain injury and we never once spoke with a doctor. We requested to speak with them but the nurses would only take a message that were never returned. The updates from the nurses were inconsistent and at times were for the wrong patient. Access and updates were provided outside the family when we specifically asked that the communication be limited due to a potential domestic abuse situation. When we were told that she was being discharged yesterday afternoon, the case manager threatened to call adult protective services if she wasn’t picked up by 9pm and hung up on another family member asking questions. When we arrived to pick her up, the nurses on duty had no idea that there were discharge papers processed three days ago and the family had never been notified. If you care about your family member’s health and well being, I recommend that you take them to another hospital for their care.

I had 5 broken ribs and a broken collarbone due to a horse accident . No one in the ER tended to me for quite sometime . After the team came in ,all went well. I was in serious condition and the nurse that took care of me was incredible ,compassionate, a great listener ! She came to my CT session and took her break with me in my room . It ment soo much . I will never forget her.
