Great locals spot but the menu is really limited. The place was packed when I went but they still had fast service that was awesome! The burgers are simple but the flame grilled patty sets it apart. Good food but not the best burger in Ketchum in my opinion. Beer can be ordered in large schooners similar to places like Fuzzys Taco Shop but for beer only

I used to love the friendly atmosphere at Grumpy's. My last visit was quite unpleasant. The server was rude and shouted at customers, ordered people back in line, didn't allow customers to view the beer list. It appeared that all the customers were complying with social distancing and wearing their masks but the person making the biggest issue of it didn't have his mask over his face.

The BEST place in Sun Valley. Great beers and great burgers. We went twice in one week!! Be sure to order a schooner! They also have outside seating with heated cabanas and fires to sit around. A MUST!

The food was alright, but I am not okay with dishonesty. I paid by credit card (no tip) and left an $8 cash tip on the table. Strange thing: the final charge on my credit card was for $5 more than it should have been. We went back to the restaurant before we left town to ask them about it. The manager produced a receipt with a five dollar tip added, apparently by an “enterprising” employee. When the manager originally went downstairs to find our receipt another employee asked her where she was going and she said, “overcharge,” which was enough of an explanation for the other employee. In other words, this might be standard operating procedure for this joint. Thankfully, the manager gave us the $5 overcharge back, but the whole thing should not have happened. Sure, it was only $5, but I don’t have any patience for that kind of theft and lack of integrity on the part of the employee who did it.
