Burke and Riley's Irish Pub

10/10 Best Irish Pub in the greater south side of Breckenridge, Colorado. The mix between the fiery Asian bartender Alexa (think that’s her name) and the strong smooth Czech arms of the other bartender, pour the creamiest Guinness in the States. Normally pub food isn’t anything to write home about, this pub has food that is extremely above average. Loved the hot chick sandwich, as well as the sliders. Will be back every year when I bring the family up from Texas.

Cobb salad with grilled chicken was very tasty! Fish & Chips and the Chicken Sandwich were also very good! Wished they had a good dry cider available. Staff was friendly!

My family and I visit this place every year and have never been treated so poorly. We all understand the necessary protocols due to covid and were being respectful of those requirements. When we arrived (with masks on), the bartender was rude and made it very obvious that she didn’t want us there. There were several tables open outside, but we were told we couldn’t be seated until our full party arrived and that we needed to wait outside. That’s fine, we get it, but it was 7 degrees outside, windy and snowing so we decided to go ahead and seat our partial party. When we told the bartender that we were just going to seat ourselves with half our party, she treated us like children saying, “okay but when they get here, they better not try to sit with you.” So we went to the outside seating area, per the bartenders instructions. Our other members arrived not even two minutes later so we went to go explain why they weren’t able to sit with us. They were speaking to another bartender, who was nicer, but the one behind the bar started yelling at us to, “ GO, GO, GO”!! Let me remind you, we all had our masks on. We eventually left without food or drinks because the whole experience brought us down. We have been coming here for the past 10 years and spend hundreds of dollars on car bombs, food and drinks. It makes me really sad to have an experience like this because everyone else in town has been super friendly. It seems like Burke & Riley’s only wants business from locals. Instead we went to Breckenridge Brewery and spent $200 on food. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. I hope they read this and try to be nicer and more accommodating to what used to be loyal customers.

Was greeted by a sarcastic bartender, quite rude actually. However, Hanna our server was delightful, checked on us in a timely manner and brought water without even asking. Not sure about food.

Shepard's Pie is great. Nice beer selection. Heated covered outdoor seating available. Take out also available.
