The Soup Pot

The food is good. There are several soups that I like. The cheeseburger in paradise is wonderful. The vegetable soup is really good as well. There are a few things I would suggest changing. I would put the chips (made in house and delicious) on the side when serving with a sandwich. When my husband received his meatball sub all the sauce had run off the sandwich which was all over the chips under the sandwich. The chips were soggy and not something he would eat. We did ask for more chips to replace those and more was given to him. Second, the price I was charged for my meal was different than the price on the board. It wasn't a very small difference so I didn't mention it for a refund but the prices posted and the prices charged should be one and the same. Despite these two things, I would definitely recommend this place for lunch.

Coming back from Breckenridge and we were starving with not very high expectations to find anything to eat in Fairplay but was pleasantly surprised when we came across the soup pot. I had the meatball sub which I can highly recommend and my wife had the grilled cheese and some chicken noodle soup which were both excellent as well. If your passing thru town , be sure to give them some business. They’ll be grateful and so will your appetite.

I absolutely love this place and make it a point to stop in every time I drive through Fairplay! The way he's working behind the counter are always really friendly and are happy to provide samples of any soup that you may be curious about. I had the Thai carrot soup which was unbelievably rich, creamy and delicious and got an order of caramelized onion and mushroom to go. I wish there were a location in Denver!

Quick, delicious and nutritious!!! Our #1 go to restaurant in Fairplay! My most recommended food spot for locals and travelers alike. I had the chicken salad on gluten free bread last night with a side of soup and it was amazing!
