Route 6 Cafe

My husband decided to bring us here for lunch as we are on a day trip. He was upset as every visit this place is very good. I ordered the shrimp po boy with waffle fries. The shrimp was not good. It was very dry like jerky. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles along with a lemonade. The gravy had a dry layer on it from sitting. The chicken tasted like it was from a bag and was cold. She didn’t even get syrup for the waffle. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and it was as hard as a rock. The waitress never came to see if we needed refills or anything. Best part was the sweet potato fries.

Found this gem today and so glad we did. Exceptional service, great local atmosphere, and delicious food. Our server Jeff was outstanding. We’ve been visiting Beaver Creek for almost forty years and we experienced the best service we’ve ever had tonight. And the owner came by to check in on us. Worth the quick drive or bus ride from the village to enjoy a fantastic meal with great people.

Big fan of this place. I've found that I actually come here a lot more often then I realized for breakfast. They have great prices, big portions, and yummy food. Their homemade hot sauce is fire, breakfast burrito is HUGE, and I love to get the veggie bennie. Our waitress the last few times has been Jessie, and she is a true joy. Attentive, funny, and very very kind. I really enjoy this spot, definitely a valley favorite.

Just had the most wonderful time at Route 6. Lilly was my awesome waitress. She seemed to have really enjoy her job. She recommended the venison chili. It was absolutely delightful.nThe bartender, Al, was also super kind.nI really needed to go out and eat good food. I was feeling kind of lonely due to self isolating. I left Route 6 with a big smile on my face.nThank you, Route 6!!!

Really good food, even better bar. Front of the house staff is incredible. Pool tables, karaoke sometimes on Wednesday (Sandman does a good job), and plenty of sports on the televisions. The owner is a gentleman and a scholar and he makes sure Route 6 is an excellent environment as well as following all necessary precautions. I highly recommend this place, it feels like home.
