I thank them for their wonderfully competent and informative service. There was no catch, just an exam. They gave me my prescription at the end of my visit and told me I can get my glasses and contacts from where ever I choose. I chose to go right next door where I received great service and great frames at reasonable prices. I highly recommend Independent Optical and their neighbors for your vision needs!
Everyone here at Independent Eyes/Optical were courteous, professional and very helpful with my eye exam and glasses fitting. I felt very rushed on both sides of this business, also I didn’t feel like I was very welcomed at all. I felt that I was more of a burden to the staff than anything and this was my first experience at this business. I did end up getting frames that I absolutely love, I couldn’t decide between two so I purchased both!
Went in for contacts exam and was denied bc optilegra only covers contact lense fitting costs at franchise places such as pearl vision and other places dr Sarah named. I couldn’t cover the cost at the time of my appointment but if I had known this information before she did an exam for glasses I could’ve took my business to Pearl vision. I was very unsatisfied with the outcome of my appointment today. Now I’ll have to pay for contacts out of pocket AND Wait another year for insurance to cover a contact exam ON TOP of waiting for my glasses to be done next door of their office in 3-5 days. My uncle referred me to independent optical but I won’t ever go there again!!! Staff was sooo nice about it but what was the point of my visit to the eye doctor if I walked out of there still unable to see
