I had a not-so-great experience here, and I've been to almost all KP's orthopedics in the OC.nnI had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Michiyuki Kono for 4:30 PM and when scheduling they asked me to be there 15 minutes early. Then on the day of the appointment I received 2 back-to-back calls just a couple of hours before to see if I could be there at 4:00 or earlier. Apparently they didn't schedule an X-Ray which is pretty obvious if you're going for an injury on a recently fractured wrist. Not to mention that an X-ray is what I literally requested in my call.nnI said I couldn't be there before 4:00 PM, but they gave me the impression they were just trying to leave on time or early. I honestly felt pressured that I would lose the appointment if I wasn't there 30 minutes before scheduled, so I left work earlier than expected to be there on time.nnWhile I was there, the staff was great and kind. But, Dr. Kono performed an extremely partial and superficial assessment (Maybe in less than 2 minutes total). Basically, I was told that there is no new fracture and that was it! When I tried to discuss the pain and the stiffness he just told me that if it hurts, then it might be a sprain and that if it was still hurting in one month to schedule a new appointment to get it checked. Isn't an orthopedist supposed to give me a proper diagnosis whether it is or not a sprain?nnHopefully I'm wrong, but my honest impression is that I was just unlucky to be the last patient of the day and that the Dr. couldn't wait to get out of there. I felt like they were under the wrong impression that they were doing me a favor and not providing me a service that I was paying for.nnThe nurse and X-Ray technician were thorough and nice.
